I voted for marriage equality. Everyone should have the legal right to express their love for another person within a committed marriage relationship.

I was overjoyed when Australia voted yes and the government changed the marriage legislation.

I am so happy that all Australian’s now have the opportunity to be legally married. Especially for my family and friends who have been waiting for this to become a possibility so that they can make their commitment to love and treasure their loved one for the rest of their lives.

I’m looking forward to seeing many happy couples profess their love and make their vows.
